Luna: A Heartfelt Legacy of Peace and Yoga from Munich

Our Story

In 2009 is when my mother, Jacqueline Fox, founded the Luna in Munich, Germany. Gerhart Prade, a charismatic, zen, and charming being invented the Luna. The idea came from a mandala that Gerhart used as his logo. A friend of his was a wood worker who made the first Lunas. My mom was so in awe of Luna, she made it her “baby” as she would have said and it quickly became my sister and I’s favorite memory from our childhood. We played, slept, and I have now realized we developed our love for yoga and peace on the Luna. The piece was always a statement in our home growing up, everyone who saw it was so curious but my mom never turned it into something further despite having the rights to do so.

In 2021 she suddenly passed away from cancer. I was in my 2nd year of college in Tampa and my sister in her last year of high school, our family was at a loss. She left us with a lifetime of beautiful memories, wisdom, love, keepsakes, and Luna. I studied Finance in undergrad so from learning all aspects of business through my courses, I decided to take Luna into my own hands to share it with the world.
